How is Islam organized in Swiss society?

| Drawing on a survey conducted in the Cantons Geneva, Basel and Ticino, this study will investigate how Islam has become established and how it is organized in Swiss society. The study will concentrate on the various organizations and their relations with each other, the authorities and the media. Comparisons with neighbouring states will also be made. |

| This project will compare the institutionalization and integration in Switzerland of two Muslim diaspora communities, the Ahmadi and the Alevites.
